What’s Included And What’s Not

Before you book…here’s everything included and not included, laid out simply and transparently!

The following ARE included in my itineraries:

• Custom PDF Itinerary – day-by-day trip plan with suggested activities, accommodations, and places to eat (and flight suggestions, if needed)
• Visitor’s Guidebook – brief PDF with important park visitor info such as wildlife safety, parking tag guidelines, park rules, and other practical “know before you go” info/tips
• Up to two minor revisions – reasonable requests can be made by you upon delivery of the itinerary or before your trip

The following are NOT included in my itineraries:

• Booking flights, accommodations, permits, transportation, activities, etc. on your behalf
• Real-time availability checks for hotels, campsites, permits, or tours
• More than two revisions
• 24/7 support during your trip
• Physical or printed copies of the itinerary and guidebook

Before You Purchase

Before purchasing your Smokies custom itinerary, please read the following important information:

• Have your travel dates pre-selected. I’ll need your trip dates (or at least a rough estimate) to create the most accurate itinerary possible.
• Be prepared to fill out a Google Form questionnaire immediately following your purchase. I’ll ask about your interests, travel style, fitness level, budget, trip goals, and more, so I can personalize your itinerary.
• Bringing your dog? Great Smoky Mountains National Park has very few dog-friendly trails, so your activity options will be extremely limited. Plan on arranging day care or not bringing your dog if you want to experience the park and surrounding areas to the fullest.
• Plan ahead. For the best experience, I recommend booking your itinerary 3-6 months before your trip, though I’ll do my best to accommodate any timeline.
• You’ll make the bookings. You’ll receive recommended booking links, but you’ll be responsible for reserving your own accommodations, activities, permits, transportation, etc. I recommend booking as early as possible. If something I recommend sells out, let me know, and I’ll do my best to suggest an alternative.
• Two revisions are included. You may request up to two reasonable revisions after receiving your itinerary or closer to your trip if conditions or your plans/health change. Revisions are intended to update your existing itinerary – not create a completely new one – and turnaround times are not guaranteed.
• Travel conditions can change. Your itinerary is based on my research, experience, and information available at the time of creation. Weather, trail and road closures, park regulations, business hours, and availability can change at any time, so always check official sources before and during your trip.
• Specific experiences can’t be guaranteed. I can’t guarantee weather, crowds, parking, wildlife sightings, trail or road conditions, or availability/hours.
• Refund policy. Because every itinerary is custom-made, purchases are non-refundable once I’ve started creating your itinerary. However, after reviewing your questionnaire, if I don’t feel I’m the best fit for your trip, I’ll let you know and issue a full refund before any work begins.

By purchasing a custom itinerary from Alexys Abroad LLC, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and travel decisions. Alexys Abroad LLC is not liable for any injuries, accidents, losses, damages, delays, expenses, or inconveniences that may occur during your trip.

Donation Note

For every itinerary purchased, I will donate $1 to Friends of the Smokies, a nonprofit that helps fund trail restoration, wildlife and resource conservation, and education inside the park.

These donations will be made in one lump sum at the end of each year.
